What can I say about myself? The first thing you should know about the Megan you will meet behind the chair is that I will always be honest with you. I have been in the hair industry for twenty years, and I promise I have met every struggle before. It truly brings me joy to hear your concerns and help solve any issues you have been having as a team.
One of my favorite parts of this career is helping guests not only solve their hair problems, but also help discover what truly suits them. I know it can feel overwhelming to decide what you want, so I pride myself on being able to guide you through the process. With your input and my expertise, I want to help you find the cut, color, or style that makes you feel like the best version of yourself. Whether you’re ready for something subtle or a bold transformation, I’ll make sure you leave my chair feeling confident and cared for.
My strengths extend past carefully crafted haircuts that withstand the time between your visits, to color services that make the most of your time and money. Hair was never meant to be a chore; it was meant to bring us joy and exemplify who we are in the moment we are in. Life can feel like an endless journey, and I want you to feel as though your hair expresses the person you are in the season you are in. Whether it is grey blending, lived-in color, color corrections, or anything that helps you look in the mirror and feel seen, that's my jam as a true hair artist.
Outside of the salon, I find myself trying to slow down and take in every moment with my husband, twin toddlers, my three dogs, two cats, and nine chickens. We have built our own tiny community of love and adventure. I truly enjoy every moment in the salon, but the real joy in life is spending time with those you love. We love to be outside, we love camping, and most of all we love being together.
As more than a mother, I love quiet mornings and endless coffee. Introspection is one of my superpowers, and I truly am an introvert with a strong will. In addition to hair, I attended KVCC and Western Michigan University for Social Work. While I am focusing on the early years of my children’s life, counseling often calls to me when I look into the future and adds to my curiosity within the salon. I would love to hear not only about your hair journey, but also about this little one called life.
