Hiii friends! I’m Lindsey! I’m from metro Detroit, and I moved to Kalamazoo 8 years ago. I’ve been working in the hair industry for couple of years now, and have really fallen in love with it! I am a gender affirming stylist with a focus on alternative hair. I started doing my own hair in 2010 and just never stopped! I had so much fun doing it, I decided to make it my career!
I started in the beauty industry as a self-taught makeup artist and moved into hair, where I have really found my passion. I love dimensional blonding, blowouts, vivids/color, and cuts! I love that every appointment is a collaborative experience. Watching our vision come to life will always be my favorite part of the job. I love getting to create art with you! Alternative hair really has taken my heart over the last year. I love creating edgy styles with lots of texture and movement. From razored shags, to butterfly cuts. Rainbow hair, to color blocking. I just love it all!
When I’m not behind the chair, you can usually find me at a rave or at home playing video games! I love cooking, hiking, foraging, crafting, and just being outside. I consider myself a hobbyist! I just like to do stuff that feeds my soul. I have 5 wonderful pets who make my heart whole. I love good music, good company and good vibes!
