Hey y'all! My love and passion for all things creative self-expression probably came from being the shy, daydreamy, middle sister of five kids. At a very young age, I found my voice by expressing my creativity through clothes, hair, and accessories that told people who I was without my having to say a word. I have always been inspired by the natural beauty of growing up in "the sticks" in rural southwest Michigan. Whether I was making shell necklaces and dandelion crowns as a kid, or cutting up thrifted clothes and perfecting cat eyeliner as a teen, I have always recognized the power of supporting our innate desire to express ourselves and making ourselves at home in our bodies. I fell in love with hair at sixteen when I started beauty school through a vocational program at my high school.

When you sit in my chair, you can expect an experience rooted in trust, collaboration, and honoring your natural beauty while celebrating self-expression. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard and understood, so together we can bring your vision for your hair to life. I specialize in enhancing what you already have. Whether that’s through rich, dimensional color, customized balayage or gray blending, or cuts designed to complement your unique hair type and desired level of maintenance.

In recent years, I’ve become especially passionate about creating haircuts that truly make your life easier! I'm all about effortless shapes tailored to your hair texture, density, and personal style. I'm confident in my versatility when it comes to adding lift and fullness to fine hair, or creating movement and reducing bulk (and drying time!) for thicker, longer hair. I have a special place in my heart for fine, wavy, frizz-prone hair, as someone who’s navigated my own “fuzzy but not quite curly” hair journey. I love helping clients troubleshoot and embrace their natural texture. While I love a subtle, lived-in look, I'm still punk at heart, so I'll always be stoked to create bold hair that makes a statement. Whether that means precision, alternative cuts or pops of vivid color, I want to create something that feels you authentically!

When I'm not at the salon, you will probably find me at home with my husband and three rescue dogs. As an introvert and homebody, I deeply value my rest and revitalization on the weekends. Time in nature is a necessity. I love nature walks, gardening, kayaking, playing with my dogs in the backyard, and biking around my neighborhood. My ADHD makes me a real hobby collector. I love to spend my free time thrifting, reading, collecting tattoos, practicing yoga, weightlifting, cooking and silversmithing.​
